Preventative Response Unit
Our Preventative Response Unit is a clinician-led service, providing short-term care in the community to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions and reduce bed-blocking.
Admission avoidance is an integrated clinical service that provides an alternative pathway of intensive home-based care to prevent avoidable hospital utilisation for patients who can be safely treated and monitored at home.
Award-Winning Clinical Leadership
Margaret Lawal, our CEO and in-house Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP), has 30+ years worth of experience working in both community and hospital settings.
Margaret won the Innovative Practice Award from NHS England for Allied Health Professionals at the 6th Annual Nurse & AHP conference for developing an admission avoidance service model in North Northamptonshire, demonstrating her innovative capabilities in this area of care delivery.
Her most recent experience is in working locum shifts for the Out of Hours GP service, providing relevant community care expertise

We can provide comprehensive remote monitoring, virtual care options, data-driven coordination, and a blend of cutting-edge and traditional clinical assessments – all aimed at enhancing the ability to treat patients safely and effectively in their home environment.
Clinician-Led Extensive Health Care Assistant Training
Our Health Care Assistants undergo the highest standard of comprehensive training in medical skills, equipment use, emergency response, patient education, communication, infection control, and cultural competence. All completed training is signed off by our Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Efficient Operating Hours
Our service runs 7am-10pm daily, including weekends, with 24/7 on-call coverage and a single point of access for all referrals.
Integrated Care Pathways
By collaborating and partnering with various healthcare providers who are already involved in community-based care, this service aims to create integrated, multi-disciplinary care pathways. This allows for smooth care transitions, sharing of information and assessments, and a comprehensive, coordinated approach to treating patients intensively in their home environment while avoiding unnecessary hospital admissions.
Gold Standard Framework
The Gold Standard Framework (GSF) is a widely used training program and accreditation process focused on enabling high-quality delivery of palliative and end-of-life care, both in hospitals and community/home settings. We aim to ensure our clinical teams, protocols, and care pathways meet best practice standards for providing comprehensive, compassionate palliative and end-of-life care to patients being treated at home.
