Will I receive training?
Every carer receives training through our learning and development programme. Each
employee needs to complete online and face-to-face training.
How much experience do I need?
You do not need experience in care as long as you are passionate and caring person.
What amenities will I have access to?
If you decide to become live-in carer- the water and electricity supply will be included, as will
access to TV and WiFi. You will have your private room to sleep in and keep your belongings.
Will I be employed or self-employed?
You will be employed by Mega Care. In certain circumstances we accept self-employed
individuals to join our team.

The right level of training support
There are mandatory training sessions that you need to complete. These cover a range of essential skills and knowledge which you will need in order to meet the needs of our clients. They include health and safety, first aid, administering medication and personal care.
Mobility can be a challenge and support will often be needed to help with maintaining a client’s independence. This can change over time and it’s important to recognise these stages.
Clients with dementia are dealing with memory loss and are probably struggling to cope with everyday tasks. Understanding how they are feeling on the day and adjusting your care accordingly is vital to ensure they remain calm.
Elderly care is all about providing that extra help in their home so they can keep on top of daily activities.
As part of our continual assessment programme, we carry out a series of audits every month and undertake spot checks. This is for your own safety and to ensure our clients receive the right level of support. It’s also an opportunity to discuss any changes to the Care Plan that might be needed.
